FORENSIC SERVICES

JNK Assessments provides comprehensive adult neuropsychological and child neuropsychological forensic evaluations. These evaluations will determine a client’s current functioning and presentation as well as clarify any organic, neurological, and psychological etiologies. These evaluations will also specify brain-related difficulties across a variety of skill domains. We utilize records available to provide pre and post incident comparisons, that will inform the consideration of pre-existing factors.

We are able to provide a strong, objective and evidence-based evaluation that can be used to determine current functioning, prognosis, and life care planning (e.g., academic, employment, self-care etc.). Evaluations also assist in determining the validity of a client’s presentation or claim.

Consultation services are also available to assist legal counsel with pre-deposition and pre-trial preparation.  Attorneys can best advocate for their client with a consultation to discern whether an opposing psychologist or psychiatrist has overestimated or underestimated a client’s injury and future trajectory. Although we are based in Los Angeles, we are licensed to provide neuropsychological services out of state.
